The Pontrieux Report is written by Gary Pepworth, an Englishman abroad, or at least I was until I moved back to the UK in June 2010. It is named after the small Breton town where I lived and worked for 4 years.
When in France I was the owner of Pontrieux’s first and only authentic English Tea Room and a B&B, older posts reflect some on the ‘fun’ of living in a small town where being local was of primary importance.
I comment mainly on Formula One, British politics, cooking , the French and hopefully some amusing anecdotes on what it was really like running a hospitality business and shop single handedly in a foreign country.
